At first I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to blog about this week, but then it hit me. I wanted to find a really good pair of leather pants that looked great on my av and that is exactly what I found in the pair from L&B. They are very detailed and just look awesome! The fact they come in more than just the standard sizes makes it easier for them to fit your av too. I wish I could say the same thing about the jacket by Razor I chose to go with them. Now don’t get me wrong I really do like this jacket and how it looks is just great, but there is one issue with it. It only came in two sizes and they are not the standard sizes that most designers are using. I had to modify my shape which pretty much is the standard size large or parts of my body were sticking out of it. I don’t mind when extra sizes are included, in fact I think that’s a great idea, but you should at least offer the standard sizes.
The hair was a find at the hair fair and from the moment I tried on the demo I knew I had to buy it. You get 29 color choices with the included HUD which just makes it an even better value. HUDs like this make me even more likely to buy hair or clothing from a designer as it makes me feel like I’m getting way more for my money. As for the hair fair itself this was one of very very few male hair options offered and I found that to be rather disappointing. Do men go shopping as much as woman? No many do not, but what designers also need to think about is that maybe they are partnered with a woman who will go “Hey, maybe my boyfriend would like this!” and either suggest their boyfriend buy it or buy it for them as a gift. All I am saying is designers need to realize that there are a lot of men in Second Life and we want to buy things too.
